OVERVIEW

Base Camp Connect is issuing this bulletin to inform customers that software version 1.16.2 is now available for systems equipped with the BC-7002 radio interface. This corrective update addresses an issue that could cause the display of active radio conferences to be interrupted, particularly affecting the visual conference indicators displayed within the BCC-RI WebUI and on compatible physical devices.

Under certain conditions, visual indicators could stop displaying after approximately 30 minutes of continuous conference activity, even though the conference session remained active and operational.

Version 1.16.2 resolves this issue and ensures that conference status indicators remain visible throughout the duration of an active conference session.

AFFECTED PRODUCTS

This bulletin applies to Base Camp Connect systems equipped with a BC-7002 radio interface, including the following product families:

  • BCC-TACTICAL
  • BCC-MICRO
  • BCC-NOMAD
  • BCC-TVB
  • BCC-NANO
  • BCC-NEXT

              Affected systems were manufactured between April 1, 2023 and September 1, 2026.

              RECOMMENDED ACTION

              Base Camp Connect recommends that affected users:

              1. Upgrade the software to version 1.16.2 as soon as practical.
              2. Verify proper radio conference operation following the installation.
              3. Contact Base Camp Connect Technical Support if the issue persists after the update has been installed.
